I must admit that I've never realised that you could set birthdays for a Contact. I've always done it as an annual recurrence in Calendar.

Plucking at straws here but are the two contacts in a different time zone from yourself?

On Outlook, are you sure that the rogue birthdays are defined as "All day events"? I seem to recall that I once had similar problems when start and end times were defined for what was an all day event.

I use MPE and Thunderbird but I don't use any kind of MPE extension in Thunderbird. Searching through TB extensions I can't find one for MPE. What does it do?

Updated to v1.8.6 this morning and sync of organizer failed with Errorcode D0 Internal Server Error. Reinstalled v1.8.5 but still getting the same error. Tried restoring my Win7 Home Premium OS to before update to 1.8.6 but still getting same error. Log file below

I only use the multi-sync for Organiser and Contacts. I don't keep photos on my phone and also haven't really looked at the other functions of the software.
