OK, some progress !!
I set the Contact Accounts to Sync to Google and it works. Is this correct ? Seems like it should be set to Phone. I don't sync anything to my Google account on the phone.
I can't get the calendar info from the phone to either MPE or Outlook and have tried both options in ...

I too am haveing what seesm to be the same problem.
Driod X, MPE Client V1.0.10
WinXP V1.8.1
If I create a contact on the Droid it does get transferred to MPE but none of the ~1600 others do.
