I have to reset my device (Samsung Galaxy S2), and i have all my backups organised: SMSes, application data, etc. BUT i can't find any app (that lasts longer than 14 days!) which can backup and restore the settings for the 8 email accounts that i have configured on my phone.

Please consider ...

It would also be helpful to MPE users, to have field limitations included with this cross-reference.

For example, those that currently apply to the Notes field

Thanks Kathy .. just to be clear though, my proposal is about eliminating duplicates, manually, with help from this enhancement, with the ultimate aim of deleting redundant contact items.

As such, it doesn't have anything to do with the "merge" feature that is available from the Android Contacts ...

There appears to be an elusive problem, one which is not confined to MPE, where contacts are duplicated when syncing between Android and Outlook. So this.

It highlights the need then for a tool to help users identify and resolve duplicates when they occur. And if this tool could be included as ...

Please consider keeping a sticky topic updated with a cross reference of the fields that are synced by MPE between Android and Outlook contacts. This would help us users make informed decisions about which fields to use when we capture contacts.
