Click on "File," select "Settings," click on "Show Log File" button.

Nearly every time MPE syncs, I am presented with files to sync that have not changed on either device. Not all my selected files, but usually 3 or 4. The time stamp has changed for some unknown reason ...

I upgraded to the Beta on my laptop, ran it, and can report that it works as advertised.
