After many hours of cleaning up my contacts database, resetting MPE and re-syncing from scratch it appears as if I am back on track.

Some of the additional features like the ability to send texts from my laptop and the phone keypad really prompted me to get this back on track rather than ...

I don't know the technical aspects of how that would work. All I know is that MPE was reliable for 6 months and then I woke up one morning and all my contacts on my phone were gone and when I went to sync that is when the dupes occurred and then it has been a disaster since then.

Thanks for your response, although it was not the one I was looking for.

I think I am going to have to go through all 2,000+ contacts and review the notes in each one to ensure that I have the most recent notes in each record.

Can someone please answer my question from November 19th?

I have a post that is almost 2 weeks old that I am trying to get a sync question answered but with no response. There seems to be numerous other posts that are just hanging out there. I have not been able to sync my HTC Evo 4G contacts with my Outlook 2007 without these questions being answered ...

Just a couple things before I do this because my contact database is my business lifeline. I have duplicate contacts in Outlook, MPE on my laptop and on my phone. The total # of contacts including duplicates in each is as follows:

Phone - 2,753 contacts
