As far as we know, FJ is working on it. There are not enough devices with 5.0 yet to tell for sure if everything works fine.
I can confirm it doesn't work on Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9505 running Lollipop 5.0.1. and latest MyPhoneExplorer. I'm willing to be included in beta test group if needed ...

Sry for late reply, I was on business trip. So I did as you wrote but on first connection my contacts are automatically added to MyPhoneExplorer. As far as I can see there is no way have only Calendar events in MPE. I don't sync contacts with any app on my computer but I thought not to have these ...
