2 days ago I was able to connect my desktop to my phone using MPE with no problem. Today when I come to connect I get:-

"Connection to phone could not be established. Phone could not be identified."

... I am 100% certain the desktop software hasn't updated, I am also pretty certain but not ...

I need a fix to this urgently as I rely on MPE to keep backups of my photos and sound recordings for my work.

I have just updated to 1.8.7 and now I can't access files in the files sections. I just get a red circle with a cross in it and the message "This phone does not support file browsing!". There has not been a firmware update on the phone

Recently I entered the birthdays of all the grandchildren into my phone. As and aid to my fading memory I just entered the year of birth into the description field. Imagine my surprise when the MPE reminder popped up on my PC screen today and had converted the year of birth into an age! Fantastic.

I'm probably missing it but I'm looking for an option to turn on delivery receipts on all SMS messages by default.

I've rerun a sync on messages and they have all downloaded form the phone again and everything is back to normal. However it is worrying that MPE seems to have suddenly deleted all the messages in the archive?

I was using MPE to send a text message. I did what I have done 100s of times before: in conversations clicked the message I wanted to reply to, wrote the message, and sent it. The conversations window refreshed and lo and behold all that is visible is the message I have just sent no other messages ...

This is a problem for me too. The recipient gets the text as one long text and if I send long texts from the phone they are stored as one. However Long texts sent via MPE are split up.

The FAQ need editing. When you install KIES you do not get a chance to cancel and just install the driver. As KIES is a bag of c**p to get rid of it you will need to go to program options in control panel and uninstall the KIES app and leave the driver after the setup has finished.

Shame, MPE is such a fantastic app.

Yes it is the 64bit version. MPE works fine with Outlook. However I did use the addin a lot. Are there any planes to make a 64bit compatible addin?

Any chance of progressing this?

I can't get the MPE add-in to work. When I try and add the add-in manually I get the following error:-

"C:\Progam Files (x86)\MyPhoneExplorer\DLL\MyPhoneExplorer_OutlookAddIn.dll is not a valid Office Add-in"

I'm using Office 2010.

It's a shame no one could help with this :>(

If the phone is connected via USB then you easy can make phone calls by entering the number on you keyboard, but if you have to press any digit in your call (IVR for example) then you have to do it manually on the phone.
