So it should not happen: "Comoli & Ferrari (elettricità)" it's a 30 chars long string, no more.

MPE is still the "best in town" but maybe that with 1.5 release we also got an old bug you fixed some months ago: with K600 i cannot sync the clock with internet.

Here I pasted a log of a full session (connect + clock sync + disconnect).

With which software you update the vcf-File ?

VCF is generated by self-made VBA macro processing an excel sheet. Resulting VCF has regular BDAY field, is the same VCF file I use for the full import of contacts and it works (birthday date included).

Even if when editing the entry the second part of the "first name" shifts in the "last name" field, now the sync is handled correctly and these entries are not considered as modified ...

Checked again with 1.4.3... I can confirm you that with VCF entries like those listed in my previous post, the intelligent import option is fooled. Can you reproduce this problem?

If wish to know if there is a way to generate birthday entries in calendar for every imported contact: if I edit a single contact I can click and set the reminder but what if I import a bunch of contacts? It would be useful (or maybe I just was unable to find) an options to generate calendar entries ...

My phone is a K600 (firmware R2AB002) and your hack works well! I just removed "K600" from ForceEncodeExVCF, restared and everything worked smooth.
