Ah yes, it is a VERY good idea !

All my widgets have a transparent background and the MPE tasks widget doesn't integrate well with them.

My suggestion: white text on a black rectangle, with the option to adjust the transparency of the rectangle from 0 to 100% (not the text, keep it plain white).

You are right. My problem with the Play Store was actually related to the firewall configuration.

I followed your instructions and it works. I'm still not comfortable with Google contacts, even if they are not sync'd, but I presume that there is no other way today.

I hate the Google privacy policy, and I don't want them to have access to my contact list. You may argue that if I hate Google, I should'nt have an Android phone, but I hate even more ...
