We often need to swap between several devices and have shortcuts using a command line in the form of:-

MyPhoneExplorer.exe action=connect id=<UserFolderName> flags=noerrmsg

Most of the time it works well but sometimes MPE gets stuck, seemingly on the connection mode of the previous device ...

Using MPE on Android Go edition (10/Q) works for the most part but does have some rough edges like:-
- Desktop notifications no longer shown because 'draw over other apps' capability is missing.
- Device monitor only partially supported.
- Connecting to device can be unreliable despite battery ...

Given the change in policy for Android apps (see links in previous comments), is there any scope to produce dedicated messaging/dialling apps to satisfy Google permissions adjudicators?

Also, is there any leeway under the 'exceptional scenarios' criteria as described here at:-

how is it determined whether the message is sent from sim1 or sim2? is it possible to disable one? or specify which sim will send the message.

First-off, there is no support for dual ...

We use MPE with a couple of dual SIM phones: one Asus, one Wileyfox, both running stock ROMs.

The ROMs are:-
Asus: Lollipop/5.0
Wileyfox: Nougat/7.1.2

* Device Monitor support for Dual SIM devices (with IMEI/IMSI & Cell ID etc). Plus also reporting of interfaces for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi MAC address, device serial number and build information; most of what is included in About Phone.

We can see the issue too: having exported to CSV, the trailing whitespace are clearly shown when looked at with a spreadsheet.

Is there a way to handle this automatically?

We have 1000s of messages and reckon about a third are duplicates. It's very tedious trying to delete them all manually.

We have the same issue on our STK Storm 2e Pluz (running Android 6 Marshmallow).
MPE shows the contents of the external/SD card but in the UI are labelled as Internal.
Has anyone else seen this and/or how is it remedied?

Thanks for replying. The reason we ask for Thunderbird is because we don't want to use Outlook or Lotus Notes.

Maybe the MPE plugin for Thunderbird could support this instead?

It would be handy to have a more expedient way of accessing the sync log(s).

At present, the requirement is to go through the settings dialog.

Would it clutter things too much to access it from either the toolbar or a menu also?

Does MPE support any other note/memo applications aside from Sticky Notes?

It would be good if MPE would offer the option to run in hidden or agent mode with simply an icon in the notification area, or the opposite with only being shown in the taskbar i.e. one or the other.

Our configuration sets MPE to open on start-up and also has the "X set to minimize instead of close" option checked. This is what we prefer but equally so it would also be helpful to have it run solely from the taskbar.
