Are you using BlueSoleil?
If so, don't restart your PC. Just re-insert BT Dongle in the USB port and again search for new devices in the BlueSoleil window.

I have similar problems some times, and I think it's a problem more of the BlueSoleil or generally the system than the MPE.

Luminai, if you still have W300, then just send all contacts through BT from one phone to another, without any external software.

Why complicate something with applications, when you have that already in your phone?

Hey, FJ, maybe you should add a small black down-arrow to the icons which have a right-click menu. I know that this would be the best solution, but my toolbarcontrol dosn't provide this functionality Too bad.


Or You can make extended menus, for example: "rightclick"

|--Forward
|--Call ...

Ahaaa, rightclick on the icon in toolbar... But why? That's not very intuitive. I didn't find that kind of bahaviour in any software I'm using. (Or mabye I didn't ever try this? )

I also think that this option should be in context menu after righclick on the message(s).

matthew, do like FJ said, but don't edit it. When you have highlighted this message in Drafts list, do fallowing things:
- click More > View
- stop the playback
- highlight your voice record (sound file), dots around this file will appear
- click Sound > Save sound
- edit it's name if you have to ...

Hmm... There is a one tutorial that I know of on Polish forum, but probably you would not understand it either.

I will try translate it for you to english language (if I will have some free time), but I'm not promising anything.

You will have to have K810, K550 or any new model with support of Bluetooth PAN Service. Or a phone which supports of running several JAVA aplications (there is a Polish aplicaton installed on the PC and on the phone, that is working as a server-client through BT serial port).

If it is USB cable, then K700 will use the same drivers.

From J120 there is no way.

J300 - yes, it will work with MPE, just like K300.

J120 don't support connections through cable with PC, so it will not connect to MPE.

One of the Polish users had this problem with W300. He said that in his case this problem was fixed only after master reset (reset all).

If the Bluetooth software you are using don't have an option to configure it, then there is no way of doing that.

I don't know if any of the BT software available have that kind of option.

The Bluetooth software alone answer a call automatically. If I remember correctly, call will be answered even if You don't use MPE in that moment.

You need additional driver for your IrDA, that will create virtual com port for connections with MPE.
FMA support native IR connection, but in that mode OBEX is not supported.
If you connect your K700 trough IR and virtual com port in FMA, then you will have access f.e. to your files ...

Some older models have this behavior. But it should been fixed since the K750 - series. Well... I've never encounter this problem, neither in old nor new models, and I've been using: T65, T310, T290, K700, K750, K810, K550, T650. Also I've never heard of it - must be really rare thing only in some ...

In MPE the change is automatic.
In your phone (while typing a message) press "More" and search for option "National chars." Everything is written in User Manual of your phone.

It's not a problem, it's a normal behaviour. Notice, that the text coding is changing from Standard to UCS2. It's because you are using special characters (national letters) and they need different text coding, so the whole message have smaller amount of characters.
