thanks for the hint. really useful as now shows what's wrong but no idea how to fix/workaround it. The error message is:

any hints?

I found in the other post an extension to debug which FJ suggested to install to someone with some other Outlook problem. I installed it as well and it generated the following debug output:

16:15:31.77 Setting Port: 999
16:15:31.77 Setting Baud: 115200
16:15:31.77 Avaiable Ports: COM3=\Device ...

Hi,
I have MPE installed on Win7 x64 and when I try to configure synchronization for outlook 2007 contacts and press Advanced button MPE closes/crashes with no error message. I can't also find anything in the log file.

is there any way to better debug it i.e. set some flags maybe or so?
