I use deleting messages via MPE a lot. Workaround with using version 1.0.48 stopped working for me on Android 12.
MPE is not on list of application that can be default sms app and the question about change default sms app is not popping out when I try to delete sms. (but phone is vibrating as ...

Keyboard shortcuts
In my work I'm using keyboard much more than a mouse. I would love to see more keyboard shortcuts in MPE. Most needed in my opinion:
- esc clears search box
- ctrl-m for new message
- ctrl-c for new call
- customizable shortcuts for other main actions as start multisync
