I got similar situation as you guys
I'm on windows 7 pro.
I have been using Myphonexplorer for many years (Brilliant) - I installed 1.8.9. this morning but couldn't find the exe file.
I tried to reinstall but it didn't work better.
I finally reinstalled previous version and it is all fine again ...
