Current MPE 1.9.0 is using client in version 2.0. MPE 1.8.15 was using client in version 1.0.74. Is there any drawback using such old client with newest MPE?

I think it is a little hard for author to debug old versions. 1.9.0 is available, try with it and if still doesn't work then continue thread.

Huawei has strict settings for power saving by default. It is possible that it disables WiFi in sleep mode so MPE won't be able to continue connection. My P20 Lite has 3 power saving modes - no power saving, saving battery with custom exceptions and last one: save battery no matter what.

Each phone are separated devices and as it they have separate folder in DATA folder for each other. Trying to mix it could give unexpected results. You look at it from only phonebook perspective but there is more than phonebook.

Emoticons are not shown in message window or in compose message window - they are replaced by some rectangle char. They of course appears in smartphone messages. Even the ones sent from MPE. Is this was fixed in 1.9.0? Android smartphone, MPE portable installation.
