Since FJ and the other noteworthy contributors did awesome and detailed job in making MPE a great app, I take the effort to write the bug report concerning international characters dispayed as two 8-byte invalid chars after contacts sync

This modification is a feedback on experience with enormous amount of timestamp editing in MPE under Sent Items.
(We long-time SE/MPE users all know SE DB2020 and other platforms firmware bug prevents sending Sent Items Timestamp huh)

situation is you compose SMS from within MPE.

and then your mobile is not connected or the connection with mobile is broken.

In that case-MPE does not save a copy of SMS you just wrote within MPE, but its destroyed.

The system used was:

WinXP SP3+MPE1.7.1<-> SE W200i, USB connection, Software/Firmware CXC1250719 R4GC012

So-its W200i Software/Firmware CXC1250719 R4GC012 (dis)ability, therefore it goes over to firmware mod/program/update area. I hand this over for thorough inspection ...

With 1.7.0 I can confirm occasional crash problem, in a situations like writing SMS in MPE...in the moment you sent it- BANG! MPE crash.

One time it was during sync.

The system used is: WinXP SP3+MPE1.7.0<-> SE W200i, USB connection, Firmware CXC1250719 R4GC012

For the details- there was too many situations I was into to keep track of the details.It seemed that upon sync MPE wiped newly edited notes from the mobile with the old ones that were in MPE.

this is a bit nasty bug-When you use Notes section in your mobile, when you make changes either in MPE or the mobile, they do not get syncronized, but instead brute-force replaced.

I lost few in the process.

So in my experience at this point it's dangerous to try syncing ...

this one is for moment when you want to sum up conversations with someone- Messenger-style
So sent and received sms are grouped together by persons you were chaving conversation.

So there is a list of persons that can be expanded to see the conversation flow.
