The phone stops the transfer with "Unknown error".
I know that its basicly problematic for the commandinterface if you have more than 1000 SMS on your phone. Alot of users reported this already. Maybe the simpliest solution is to delete some messages (after you exported them)

First thanks for the new version of MPE supporting Symbian based phones! Was looking out for that one!
Just tried it, and after finding the phone, MPE does a whole Synchronise which works all fine, all but importing the sms' on the phone.
When it comes to this part, it starts reading messages ...
