MPE really has some troubles with internationalization. Maybe various controls have various charset? Or it messes unicode and not-unicode controls together.

MPE today crashed twice while sending SMS (two-part ones, in UNICODE, with probably quite low signal).
I guess this happened after sending 1st part because I had it in Sent folder and the 2nd was in Unsent (or Drafts; don't know how this folder is ...

Portable 1.8.1 at last, and the crash really seems to have been fixed. I just backuped ~40 SMSs in several moves flawlessly. Thanks for this fix!

2StefanGaller: thanks, I'll know what to do if some strange crash would happen.
2FJ: strange, I've checked Spam folders and found nothing... what's the address forum sends emails from? I'll try to white-list it.
Hmmm, I love portable... I'd better wait for the release.

Right now version 1.8.0.0 portable crashed two times approximately on deleting SMS from phone. Thank God archive was saved but it was scaring. SE W700 thru Bluetooth, if it matters.

1) I do not ask for doubling a files (though it would be more clear) but for a little bit of info somewhere near the Download link.

2) Yes it works but I can't go to downloads page (except from Highlights link which is quite not intuitive) or forum or anywhere else.

I wish the way of getting a portable version was described somewhere. For now I searched through forum and found that it's an option in installer, but normally one is searching in Downloads section for zip file named Portable version .

I cannot put "New folder" on top cause it destroys the common order in MPE.
Hmm, haven't got it... you could separate this by the divider, and place it near "Archive (PC)" item

I could assign a keyboard-shortcut to this function - would this help ?
