But it seems like there is nothing in the recycle bin to start with.
I do remember switching the target folders from C drive to D drive and after that my wife's profile disappeared entirely. Is there any hope that i should be able to retrieve anything or the SMS are lost along with anything else ...

I am a new member and I need some help.
Here's my story.... I have the Myphone explorer and 2 cellphones (2 x K510a). I made a year ago 2 profiles for 2 users under which i downloaded everything.
