Interestingly, this happened to me today too! I'm using the portable version paired with my HTC Magic, over USB.

I will try it again over WiFi.

Of course, I noticed MPE (portable) crashing on my computer a lot today, not just when trying to delete SMS.

I have noticed a similar problem, however I am NOT syncing with Outlook.

I installed the app on my HTC Magic, and the latest version of the program on my Windows 7 (64 bit) PC. When I sync my _phone_ to MPE on my computer, any calendar items that are marked on the phone as "All Day" are shown in ...

Actually, I figured it out.

The first time I ran MPE (portable) and connected to my phone, it did a sync of everything , but didn't actually transfer appointments to MPE from my calendar.

I ran MPE again, connected to the phone, clicked on the Calendar tab, and clicked the sync button, and ...

I have installed the portable version of MPE on my USB stick. I successfully connected my HTC Magic to MPE via Wifi. I performed a sync from phone to portable MPE, but in Portable MPE I do not see any of the appointments from my phone calendar.
