Phone could not be identified

For whatever reason now, I can't get the program to talk to my phone via wifi. I've even tried with USB and it still refuses to connect to the phone. It either says it can't find any phones, or it says "phone could not be identified" It used to work, and now for some reason it wont work anymore. I've rebooted my device, and re installed program both on pc and device.

I tried it with my back up phone, and it found and connected to the phone right away. It's shame.. this was a handy program. If I can't get it to work, I will have no choice to remove it.

With the usb connection try searching for other threads on the topic. Maybe you need the latest/a later driver?

As for wifi, have you tried rebooting your router? Can you connect to the internet from your phone via wifi? If you can, can you also 'ping' your phone from your pc? If you can try a fixed ip for your phone or assign an ip address from your router by 'binding to its mac address'.

Turns out it was the phone itself.. The wifi had stooped working on it. I could connect to the router, but I couldn't get a internet connection. When I factory reset it, I was able to access the storage via wifi again with no issues.
