Need definitions of 3 types of storage

Can someone clearly, simply, in an enumerated list (1,2,3) define the 3 types of storage referred to in MPE?

I would so greatly appreciate it.

1. External Storage (means microsd card)
2. SD Card (means internal storage /storage/emulated/0/
3. System means the / (root) folder of your phone
