Calendar: Loop of copying the events forth and back

I've been using MyPhoneExpolorer for years. I have several tasks and several hundred of events and I sync 370 days in the past and 740 days in the future.

At some point, in subsequent sync runs, it started to copy a subset of events from Outlook to phone and back (if the option "Sync both" is chosen in "Events and Tasks" - this is my default) or continues copying the same subset in the chosen direction (if the option "Force Outlook -> phone" or the opposite is chosen). These events are cyclic events. Some of them are yearly, some are weekly.

I have tried to set the option "Force Outlook -> phone", to delete all the tasks and appointments in the calendar view of MPE and to re-sync from Outlook from scratch. It went OK.

Nevertheless, the looping of the same events goes on. What can be done?
