MPE has started sending long texts as multiple messages

Why has MPE started sending my long text messages as multiple texts? If I send a text that is longer than one message long, it will show in my phones Messaging app as 2, 3, 4 etc messages instead of one long message.

This never used to happen, have I triggered a setting somewhere?

Well, not the MPE started this, Android did it.
Have a little research in this forum and find out what to do about it.

I think what he means is...and it may be Android doing it, but we're all looking for a solution...

For the longest time, A split up messages...then for a while, messages would go through in one piece no matter their length (within reason)...now they're back to splitting up again.

So what changed (in Android or within MPE) within the last month?

Any idea?

One thing that annoys me about online forums is when people say "search for the information and find out", so therefore assuming I haven't already (I had!) rather than trying to help with the problem.

TheLandYacht, you are correct it winds me up that if I send a text longer than 1 standard text message, the recipitent will recieve it in multiple messages rather than one long text message. I'm on Kitkat 4.4 and have been since last Summer and I am pretty sure this only started happening recently.
