Due to security restriction in android

Hi

Recently when trying to delete message in the phone from myexplorer, I get the message "Due to security restriction in android you have to set Myphone explorer client as default sms app in the phone". Why did that happen ? How can I disable it as I would like to use Myphone on the pc and Hancend on the phone.

Thanks for reading the forum on that topic.
You can´t do anything about it if you don´t wanna go back to a previous Android version. In order to use the MPE for sending texts you have to switch to MPE as the default App. After using the MPE the MPE Client will ask you to switch back to the original App or in your case to Handcent.
This you can´t change, it´s the best the MPE can do about it as these comes from Android itself.

I'm able to send text through MPE just fine even when MPE isn't the default.
The only thing I can't do when MPE isn't default is delete messages.
