I can't pinpoint the exact date this started happening but MPE cannot sync with Thunderbird/Lightning when it is running any more, and if it does sync when Thunderbird/Lightning is not running then it does not create events in Thunderbird/Lightning.
This has been happening since around mid October, the last release of Thunderbird was 38.3 on 29th September.
MPE can create/delete events on the phone. Unfortunately if it does not create an event in Thunderbird/Lightning for a phone event, then on the next sync it deletes the event on the phone by default unless it is spotted, so far I have lost around a month of diary entries this way.
Running on
Windows 10
Thunderbird 38.3
Lightning 4.0.3.1
MPE 1.8.6
Android 5.0
Sync over Wi-Fi
MPE and Thunderbird/Lightning not creating events any more
Just to reiterate, this is a problem because if MPE syncs the events without writing them to Thunderbird/Lightning and this goes unnoticed, then they will get deleted from the phone when the next sync happens. Is it possible to have some kind of warning if the events don't get written.
Also, would I be able to recover the events from the Android calendar?
