Shoul I install "MPE 1.8.7 nightly"?

New Notebook with Win10 and Office 2016 fully updated. Installed MPE 187. Rebooted. MPE detects my phone and even managed to sync my Outlook contacts - but not calendar and notes.

Looking at Outlook's addin list, the MPE addon is shown as inactive. Even when I check it under COM ADDINS and click OK, it remains inactive. There's a message at the bottom of the COM Add-ins window which says:

Load behavior: Not Loaded. A runtime error occurred during the loading of the COM add-in.

This happens whether I start up Outlook 2016 with or without admin authority.

I have seen several posts mentioning installing an MPE debug update file. Is that relevant here? If so, is this link for it valid?

If this debug update file is not the solution, what is?

The beta will fix your issue with the Outlook-Addin. But the Addin has nothing to do with the sync itself, what is the problem with calendar and notes - do you get any error message?

Thank you very much. The beta fix indeed resolved my problem. MPE Outlook 2016 Addon now enabled and MPE listed on Outlook's main menu bar.

Everything syncs via Outlook. I don't know exactly what happened at the start when I tried syncing everything via MPE Win client but all's fine now.
