how is it determined whether the message is sent from sim1 or sim2? is it possible to disable one? or specify which sim will send the message.

But just in case you don't...
First-off, there is no support for dual SIM in MPE yet. Many of us are praying it will happen but the developer has indicated this to be difficult and not possible to date.
Second, and assuming the device does not already provide a 'default SIM to use' option: Initialise/setup up MPE with only one of the SIMs activated/enabled in the device. Reactivate the 2nd SIM afterwards. This will mean the SMS will flow through the first SIM at least.
