I am currently running the latest version of MPE (v1.8. and have been using MPE successfully for a number of years with no issues.
However recently within the last few days when I attempt to do anything with Microsoft Outlook 2016 e.g. change settings or sync with Outlook I get the error message "The operating system is not presently configured to run this application".
From the research that I have so far done it appears to be a problem with the current version of Outlook, however any comments would be appreciated.
I'm running v16.0.8229.2073 32-bit.
Regards. |

There were problems with some Microsoft updates for Outlook recently plus you could try turning off your anti-virus to see if that works. Just guessing you understand ...... |

Many thanks for your reply. I've tried turning off my anti-virus however I still get the same message. I do think it's to do with recent updates for Outlook from Microsoft, however I couldn't find anything specific to the recent updates having problems. Do you have any links that I can refer to? |

MS Office has just been updated to v1707 build 8326.2058 today (28th July) and appears to have fixed the issue. This would indeed appear to be an issue with MS Outlook!! |

MS Office has been updated to v1707 build 8326.2070 yesterday (9th August) and has again broken the application with the same message "The operating system is not presently configured to run this application"!!
I am again unable to sync (or connect) to MS Outlook!!
Edit: Now fixed in v1707 build 8326.2073 released on the 11th August. |
