backup creation does not work, MPE crashes

Hello everybody,

I have a relatively new problem with MPE: backup creation does not work any longer! It used to do, but since some months, backup is no longer possible.

The connection between my Samsung Galaxy S7 (Android 7) and my Toshiba laptop computer (Windows 7) works fine (both in WiFi and USB modes).

Multi-synchronisation works without any problem.

However, backup stops during the process and MPE crashes, always at the same point (ie at the very end of SMS saving).

Any idea of what is happening?
