Photo Sync Duplicates

The Photo Sync works great and find only new images that have been taken since the last sync which is perfect.

The only issue I have is that it downloads the photos twice every time. When I sync, it will find any new images the download them, eg IMG_20171026_102815.jpg then do it again as IMG_20171026_102815 (1).jpg

Any ideas as to why its doing this?

Same problem for me... since the beginning of my usage of MPE it happens, on any kind of folder synchronization.

Hi!

First of all thank you for your job on MPE. I used it quite every day and I
am very satisfied.

I have the same problem of double identic photos after each synchronization.

My phone is a HuaWei Honor 5 C, running Android 7.0, EMUI 5.0. I use 1.8.8 version of MPE, Windows 7 professional edition.

I noticed one little thing that, maybe, could help to solve the problem (what I couldn't do by myself, but believe me, I tried!) : when I'm in the MPE interface and I look in my smartphone folders, I have exactly the same folders both in my internal storage and in my external memory (the SD card, I guess). Including of course the DCIM folder containing all my photos.

Could it be a reason why I have systematically obtain 2 copies of each photo after a synchronization ? I don't know, but surely (or maybe) you will.

Two more important informations :
- I set by default my phone to save all my files on my SD card.
- I checked on my phone : all the photos are ONLY in my SD card. No one is in the internal storage.

Big mystery !
