2 days ago I was able to connect my desktop to my phone using MPE with no problem. Today when I come to connect I get:-
"Connection to phone could not be established. Phone could not be identified."
... I am 100% certain the desktop software hasn't updated, I am also pretty certain but not sure that the phone software hasn't updated either.
I am using Windows 10 Pro 64bit
MPE Desktop 1.8.8
Android 6.0.1
MPE Android 1.0.46
I have tried connecting via Bluetooth, WiFi and USB I get the same message each time
There is nothing I can find on the website to help me troubleshoot this, please advise me what I should do?

It was, thanks for the suggestion Dave. In fact I have just realised what the problem is. My wife had left our laptop on in the kitchen and I suddenly realised MPE had actually connected to that despite being 2 rooms away! so once that connection was killed I'm cooking with gas.
