name truncated refreshing contact list: maybe a bug?

Steps to reproduce this issue:

1. create a test.vcf card:

BEGIN:VCARD
VERSION:2.1
N;CHARSET=UTF-8:(elettricità);.Comoli & Ferrari
TEL;WORK:+39011858542
ADR;HOME:;;C.so Verona, 26/C;Torino;TO;10152;
NOTE:L-V 8/12-14/18,30
END:VCARD

2. Import test.vcf card in a contact list: the item is imported and listed as "Comoli & Ferrari (elettricità)"

3. Clic the "Synchronise" button: the right round bracket disappears.

This happens with a SE K600i and MPE 1.6.1. It did not happen with MPE 1.5.x, never tried with 1.6.0.

Anyway, thanks again for MPE. Still and always the "best in town"...

It has nothing to do with the Version of MyPhoneExplorer. The name-fields in phone are limited to 2x15 chars = 30 chars

So it should not happen: "Comoli & Ferrari (elettricità)" it's a 30 chars long string, no more.

It's possible that if you have the default phonebook on the phone set to SIM , this will happen.Try changing the default to "phone" and see what happens.

Of course you were right, sorry for wasting your time: i did not notice a dot before the name, bringing the total lenght to 31.
