App closing in 15 Minutes. How to disable?

When My Phone Explorer is not connected to a PC within 15 Minutes. It will close itself from the background.

How can I disable this "Feature"? It kinda defeats the purpose of the app. Pretty inconvenient for me to have to turn go into my phone and open the app every time I go to my PC.

No, the issue is on the mobile app. The mobile app will close within 15 minuets if it is disconnected from Bluetooth to my PC.

Would be nice if th developers would add a feature to turn this off... It's just not needed.

The MPE client will not be terminated after 15 minutes if you establish the connection without starting the client on the mobile phone beforehand:
1. MPE=>F1

or

2. as already described

Set MPE => F2 => Startup => Connection on Startup and start first your MPE on the PC

It just doesn't work half the time. When I leave my house for more than 15 minutes, it should still be running in the background like other applications on my phone.

I sync with 3 devices all from my PC. I disconnect the device before moving to the next but the app on the device waits 15 minutes before disconnecting. Is it possible to reduce it to say 5 minutes or indeed close the app when I send the disconnect action on the PC. I cannot understand why anyone would want it on permanently because the programme connects automaticaly when you run it.

Hi, any progress yet?

I've been told that "back in time the computer side was reliably able to start the client App on the phone remotely to inititate the connection".

But now it looks like this doesn't work, at least in my environement (Windows 10, Fairphone 3 with LineageOS-microg), so that if I turn off my PC for some time (e.g. for the night), when I turn it back on, I can’t establish the link because MPE is off on the phone. I have to relaunch MPE manually to reestablish the link.
