@Site Admin FJ
I have created the Simplified Chinese language file for MyPhoneExplorer Version 1.6.4, I have tested and it's ready, please include this lng file with the installer pack when you are convienent, many thanks. Lng file has zipped to rar format, I've sent to your email fj.wechselberger at gmx.at . I am still working on the holiday files as Chinese government is re-organizing holiday arrangements. Thanks.

FJ hat geschrieben:Thank you - i'll take a look at the file. Did you have problems with Unicode-support ? Normally MyPhoneExplorer doesn't work correct on chinese PC's (it has to do with the Double-Byte-Char setting)
Sorry I forgot to mention my configurations etc.
I am running on a en_us based windows vista with settings in "language and regional options" that Chinese (PRC) was set for non-unicode programs, and it works fine for me. So I would assume that any windows os with chinese core should run this fine.

I gived a try as well. Messages reading ok, just like what u said, the phonebook with chinese names are displayed as ????? rather than proper words.FJ hat geschrieben:Hmm - to be more specific
- running PC in (DBCS-Mode) = Default chaset set to chinese
- a real Unicode-Name in the phonebook
- after downloading these entrys are displayed as empty.
I tried to fix this for hours, but i was not able to do it.
Best regards FJ

Sorry I can't help on this problem. Maybe Chinese users have already aware about the phonebook issue. Apart from that I found no problems.FJ hat geschrieben:Thats the besic problem. The question is if its clever to add a chinese languagefile. many chinese users will download it and it will not work correct on their PC's
