Beitrag von AL123 »

Hi all.

MPE is fine for my k750i via USB but not for my k700i. :(

Phone: k700i
Connection: IRDA (Model MA620)
MPE: 1.64
Windoze: XP

Here is the logfile if it is anyhelp:

00:34:02.64 Port 1 wird geschlossen
00:34:02.65 Port 2 wird geöffnet...
00:34:02.65 Einstellungen werden gesetzt (9600, N, 8, 1)
00:34:02.65 Puffer werden gesetzt...(8192)
00:34:02.65 Settimeout: RT=2000 WT=200
00:34:03.15 Port 2 wurde geöffnet!
00:34:03.15 Settimeout: RT=2000 WT=500
00:34:03.17 [TX]: AT+CBC
00:34:05.17 ReadFile Fehler: Systemerror: 0 [The operation completed successfully.]

Any help would be most appreciated. Tho note, I cant really get a BT for my PC or a USB cable for the k700i since Im going to flog it to charity and I wish to back it up before so.

Cheers

Hi

Have you install the Phone-Driver?
If so, try File --Settings -- Connections -- Search Phone.

So I require phone driver (i.e. k700i) for MPE? (Links?)

Because with FMA and IRDA, the phone connects fine.

No, no, no...
You need additional driver for your IrDA, that will create virtual com port for connections with MPE.
FMA support native IR connection, but in that mode OBEX is not supported.
If you connect your K700 trough IR and virtual com port in FMA, then you will have access f.e. to your files, just like in MPE.

http://www.ircomm2k.de/English/index.html - here you can find this driver.

Ah hah!

That done the trick. Cheers Zayoos. :)

Lucky I got a cable for my other phone. IRDA is bloody slow!
