Clock in MPE
Probably fairly low doen the priority list, but I'd really like to see a clock in MPE.
For example, I'd like to know what the time is on the phone while I'm using the organiser functions. This would be particularly useful when travelling and using different time zones.

Build a conversation!
FJ hat geschrieben:@rahul: I know what you mean but i don't think that it can be implemented in this way that every user understand its sense. MyPhoneExplorer is designed for easy-to-use.
Hi
What I think is every great sofware is made keeping in mind all kind of users; most advanced as well as the novice ones.
What is the harm in adding some advanced features in the software. Those who want to use them, will use them.
Users can be made aware of the feature by placing a contol like "Build a conversation" or the information can be appended in the Help section.
No end user uses all the features of a software. They use a particular set of features regularly. And rest is available to them iff they want to use them!
Regards!

Feature - Use Computer Head Set to talk in calls
Dear Team,
It's really a great job, I wish to ask for a feature i.e. to talk through my computer headset. As when it is connected to computer and Call rings, it is not possible to attach hands free, so it's good to use system headset.

I've one suggestion for you to consider for your next version...
Can u add a menu in the inbox that move sms to a subfolder?

.Copy to subfolder
.Move
.Move to subfolder
thanks!

Not sure if this has been suggested already:
I use windows live messenger that can sync contacts with windows contacts (I'm using vista 64). But it puts the contacts into a subfolder within the vista contacts folder, so MPE doesn't link them during a contact sync.
Would it be possible to specify a contacts folder within windows contacts for it to sync with?
Many thanks

The sync of contact-photos is not stable, so this feature - which is already implemented - is locked. You can try to activate it by edit the general.ini:
I say it again, it's not stable!
Try it at your own risk... - but make a backup before.
Code: Alles auswählen
ForceContactImage=<YourPhoneModel, e.g. K800>

Allow editing of date/time for incoming SMS
Hello,
My SMS delivery centre has a different GMT. It would be great if we can edit the date/time of the incoming SMS (the sent messages already has the option) or have an option to apply the GMT to the incoming SMS as MPE imports the SMS from the phone.
My SMS delivery centre has GMT+10 where as my current timezone is GMT+8. If there is an option to change the date/time of incoming SMS, please implement a batch mode operation as well. Double xxx over 1000+ SMS is not fun
Keep up the good work, it is a great piece of software.

Auto-syncing of Outlook calendar
Unless this is already supported, having MyPhoneExplorer auto sync the calendar every five minutes, or even better when an item was added to the calendar cause a sync to happen.

Imaging you have to add e.g. ten new items to the calendar - and after every item MPE iniciates a sync! Not very good, isn't it?
New Feature
It would be great if we can also assign ringtones to contacts thru this prog! very usefull feature on the mobile but i never use it cuz it takes too much time going in every contact and pressing a lot of buttons for 1 change.
