My argument is that most users that use the chat function are used to chat programs and knows that Enter does mean "Send". They know that chatting is a special way of sending messages and that these messages rarely contains line breaks. And even if they don't know, it will only cost them an sms before they learn, and the (unfinished) message is still being sent to the recipient, so nothing is actually lost.FJ hat geschrieben:Besides this a SMS coists money (in the most cases) so its better if the user uses the specialkey inaware that he reawant to send the message now.Just [Enter] can raise problems if you dot think of the hotke.
Besides, personally I pay about 1 euro-cent (0.01 €) per SMS, which I don't think is not a lot of money, at least here in Denmark. Many people also pay a fixed amount every month to be able to send as many SMS'es as they like for "free" (= flat rate SMS).
But now you heard my view, let's see if other users miss being able to press Enter too. Remember though that probably very few take the time or trouble to write it here - my guess is that for every person writing something here in the forum there are 100 others thinking about it but not doing it...
About options: I hear your point. My view is that the more options, the more users can make the program suit his or her personal needs. The users might not all be able to set the options themselves, but then they ask a friend like me (a computer professional) who then sets up the program settings as they like it, making them happy with the program.
But I guess many options makes it harder for you to test the program and therefore you don't want that many options?
Thanks, FJ!FJ hat geschrieben:2) OK, in the next update i will gray out the Textfield
