Hi,
I've found a small bug when syncing contacts. It seems that contacts with addresses are always synced, even if they've not been changed since the last sync. This happens with K850i <-> GMail and K850i <-> Thunderbird.
I'd also like to request a new feature. It would be great if the Google contacts and calendar modules could support multiple Google accounts, as I have two accounts (personal and work) but would like both sets of contacts and calendars on the phone.
Cheers,
Jack |

1) Does it happen with every contact which has an address ?
2) You can add the calendar of your work-account to your private account in Google, then you can set both calendars for syncing in MyPhoneExplorer. A multi-user-support is not planned, cause i don't think that its needed for the most users. |

1) Yes
2) Yeah that would work for the calendar I guess, but what about contacts? As I have two sets, one in each account. |

1) Google has no seperate fields for addresses so MPE splits and jons the parts of the address. This could make problems. Which format do you use for addresses ? Please give me an example so i can reproduce it.

1) Actually, I've just changed the format that the addresses were in and it seems to have fixed it. In case you still wanted to check it out, this is how they were:
Code: | [Building Name]
[Road Name]
[Town] [County] [Post Code] |
I've now changed them to:
Code: | [Building Name]
[Road Name]
[Town]
[County]
[Post Code] |
2) OK, never mind. |

1) Funny that it works now, the address-format is suggested this way:
[Street and Number]
[Postcode] [City]
[State]
[Country] |

Hi FJ,
I've done what you suggested and shared my calendars from my second account with my first, so that I can easily sync them all (I've also merged my contacts lists so that's not a problem either now). However the shared calenders appear in MyPhoneExplorer as read only, however I've set the sharing permissions correctly so that the first account does have the ability to edit them. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Jack |

Please create a new empty calendar in one of your profiles and give me read and write access for it so i can reproduce the behavior. |

I've worked out what the problem is. You have to set the permissions to "Make changes AND manage sharing" in order for MyPhoneExplorer to work properly, however the "Make changes to events" (which I set it to before) should also work shouldn't it? As MyPhoneExplorer isn't interested in sharing. |

Yes, the mailaddress you wrote is OK. I will test out with which permissions a write-access works. |
