Hi,
Thanks so much for a great program!
I have a problem with the latest version (1.7).
I'm using a (symbian) G900 and more than half of my contacts appear to have no number information unless I move my mouse over the name. the number then shows up as a tooltip.
If I edit the contact then the number still doesn't show up (but sometimes it does show up).
Please please help.
p.s. it's very similar to the problem described here: http://www.fjsoft.at/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6094&highlight=numbers
But I'm sure I DON'T have the beta as I only use final releases and I donwnloaded it from your homepage yesterday. |

Thanks for the quick reply.
That seems to have worked for SOME entries but not others:
I have all the fields showing now and the number still doesn't appear unless I move my mouse over the contacts name (it doesn't even appear in the "edit contact" window.
Also when I transfer the contact to my phone the number doesn't transfer.
EDIT: It's even stranger that when I fill in all the number fields with 12345 in the "edit contact" window and go back to the main view and move my mouse over the name it still shows the original (proper) number and then shows 12345 underneath.
These pics explain better :
before mouseover:
after mouseover

I imported from an xml file created in a previous version of MyPhoneExplorer. Also tried an old .mpb file that was also created in an older version.
I'm going to fix my numbers manually and try to back them up onto MyPhoneExplorer.
Thanks again for your help.

Old phones support one Mobile-Field, for Symbians there are 2 fixed Mobile-Fields (Home and Work). It seems that i have forgotten this to implement for the import. if you let me some days time i will fix it. |
