W700i 30 min shift in calender. (all events).
Hello,
I own a W700i, I just recently came to know about My Phone Explorer and connected the phone to it. Every thing seems to work fine except a timeshift problem in the calender section.
All calender events (recurring & non recurring) as well as tasks are shifted 30 min in the programme. Eg. An all day birthday event on 11th July in phone shows as starting at 00:30 on 11th July to 00:29 on 12th July, in every other event the time is increased by 30 min.
I checked the settings in my phone it is GMT + 5:30 Standard Time. In my PC the time zone setting is GMT + 5:30. (No day light savings in applicable in my Country India)

Same 30 min shift in w810i
Hi,
I have the same problem. Time zone on the PC and handset is set to +5:30 (India) and creating a new event or existing ones read from the phone have the time shifted forward by 30 mins. For example, an appointment set for 10:00 AM comes out as 10:30 AM.
The same applies if I try to sync the time to the internet. Even though I selected cancel, the phone timezone got set to +6 and running the PC Suite right after that, prompted me to sync the time zone on the phone to the one on the PC and that set the time zone on the handset back to +5:30.
Basically, the PC Suite has no such problems and this time shift also happens with the latest FMA beta.
I also added w810i to the ini to force editing of notes. I do get the notes on the sidebar, but, the current version is unable to read/edit notes on the w810i.
Please let me know in case you need any more information from my side. I tried to register here, but, could not quite understand the error messages.

Notes in w810i
Hi,
Just an observation about the notes in w810i, the PC Suite does sync that from Outlook, although, as with the other fields, there is no warning of truncation. Maybe this information helps...

I didnt realise there was already a thread about this... I have the same problem.
Here's my post from the thread I started earlier:

I'll also try on my k610i later on, and let you know how it goes.Hi,
I have an SE z800i, and MPE works very well with it. However, I think I have found a bug in the organiser (specifically the calender). If i add an appointment using MPE, and then synchronise with the phone, the appoinment is not added in the phone with the correct time. It's always half an hour off.
If i tell an appointment to start at 16:30 using MPE, the phone will list the appointment as starting at 16:00...
Is this a known bug? Are there any fixes?
Thanks!

Yes, there is also a timeshift if I create a new event with MyPhoneExplorer.FJ hat geschrieben:Is there also a timeshift if you create a new event with MyPhoneExplorer ?
If I want to make an appointment from the programme I have to advance the time by 30 minutes to get the correct time in the phone.

I tried using a w550i and am having the same problem.
All apointments whether created on the cell or the pc both end up being pushed up 30 mins after synchronisation. The time zone in both my pc and the cell are the same (+5.30)
The problem is also visible during internet time sync with atom server. The timezone is set to (+6.00) when i set the time using this feature...
Hope this information helps :)
