It would be great if you could add option to NOT writing diacritic characters like in some languages German, Polish, etc.
In Polish, When you press
ALT+a/c/e/l/n/o/s/x/z
you get diacritics chars: ą, ć, ę, ł, ń, ó, ś, ź, ż
And of course SMS turns from Standard to UCS2 encoding where you can write only 70 characters instead of 160.
When I write some sentences I sometimes forgot to use "a" instead of "ą" , "c" instead of "ć", "z" instead of "ż" (which is ALT+Z) or "ź" which is ALT+X.
Could you give us an option (for languages with diacritic charaters in alphabet) to automaticaly change shortcuts like ALT+E to turn it to "e" not "ę" and so on for people who wish to send 160-character-sms's
