Problem with Sent Messages

If I turn the "Save successful deliveries in Sent Items" option on and send a message through MyPhoneExplorer, it doesn't behave exactly the same way as when I send a message through the phone.

When I go to the phone's Sent Messages folder and look for the message, the message is not marked as "Delivered" (even though MyPhoneExplorer reports that it has been delivered).

If I open the message on the phone in the Sent Messages folder, a duplicate copy appears in the Drafts folder. If I delete this duplicate copy in the Drafts folder, the original copy in the Sent Messages folder disappears.

This behaviour is really annoying and I want messages sent through MyPhoneExplorer to behave the same way as messages sent through the phone. That is, they should be marked as delivered (if the operator sends delivery report) and no duplicate copy should appear in the Drafts folder if I view them in the phone.

Suggestions for Chat Window

In the New Message, Reply or Forward window, there is a status bar which has an SMS/character counter. I would like the same status bar to appear in the Chat window, so that I can know how many SMS I'm using and how many characters are left in the current SMS while I'm typing the chat message. Currently, there is only balloon pop-up notifying that I'm entering the next SMS. This is not very useful in managing the SMS length.

Also, in the Settings for Chat window, there should be an option called "Save successful deliveries in Sent Items" and it should be linked (synchronised) to the same option that appears in the New Message, Reply or Forward window.

To me, the balloon tip is not enough because the SMS/character counter helps me save my money by helping me manage the length of my message before I send it.

For example, if I type a long message and it runs just a few characters into SMS 3, I can edit the message to make it shorter, bringing it down to SMS 2, thus saving me the money for one page of SMS. With the balloon tip, it's kind of hard to do this, but with the counter it's easier.

I'm sure many users also do what I do. Besides you already have such a counter in the New Message window, you simply have to port it to the Chat window. Maybe you can place a simpler version on the top right-corner of the window, if you prefer not to have a status bar.

I think that ADTC's idea of counter in status bar would be very useful. A counter could be inbuildt even in "Send message" button,. Status bar is not necessary for it.
