Android
Hi,
I love this software and have used it for as long as I can remember on all my previous phones, but sadly SE don't offer any nice phones I like at the moment, So I've moved over to a HTC Desire.
With the increased popularity of the Android OS on phones (includig SE)will you be offering a version the works with all Android OS phones and not just SE android phones.
Thanks

Hm isn't there a version of this software for the macs ?
If so I guess you have to emulate windows OS on mac to use it.. If you hear any updates, please share as I'm thinking of getting a mac.
I archive all SMS messages and then delete the ones I don't need out of the archive and export the keepers. I do this many times a day. I currently use the tweak in general.ini "AutoArchiveSentMessages=1" which is fantastic and has saved me many clicks.
I would like to see a tweak that Moves to Archive ALL SMS messages (Inbox and Sent Items) as soon as they arrive in MPE, no matter how they come into MPE (when synchronizing the phone's Inbox or Sent Items or when SMS messages are received or sent via MPE.) Once moved via this new tweak, they should be deleted from the phone and/or MPE Inbox or Sent Items folders as the Move to Archive functionality currently does.
I am not talking about any kind of filtering or anything... just simply moving everything into Archive when it arrives in MPE by whatever means they come in.
Thanks for considering this, FJ. I am just looking for ways to streamline my SMS management.

Perhaps a MsgBox when the number in Archive is > 25,000 could pop up to warn the user to export or delete could be a simple solution. I cannot personally imagine having that many messages in MPE at a time!
I had suggested a while back that it would be great if during export, a user could be offered the choice to append messages to an existing export file rather than making so many export files. That feature would be a big help to me as well as a new context menu item that would "Export and Delete" in one go. I am just looking to streamline SMS export management.
Thanks again for such great software FJ!

FJ, I need to modify my request above. It is not logical to automatically move to archive any sent items that do not have a valid sent date. Messages I send from MPE are dated (of course, thank you!) but I have to manually edit the date of those messages I manually send using the data in the phone. I understand the reason why but I don't want to automatically move those to archive and lose the date that is displayed in the phone. Make sense?
Thanks,
Tom
Thanks,
Tom

Vivaz Pro / W302
Hey, I'm currently using the W302 sony ericsson and tried to connect to MPE after a friend gave me raving reviews of it however it just doesn't connect, something to do with COM port? any ideas how I could make it work or is the technology just not going to do it?
Also, I'm looking to get a Vivaz Pro, will this be supported as I see the vivaz already is?
Many thanks - J1LT

Hello,
First of all let me congratulate you for this awesome software. I've been using it for over a year, without any problems.
Recently though I found myself in need of a program that could schedule the SMS sending process. In this way a user could schedule a message to be sent sometime in the future without human intervention as long as the phone is connected to the PC, or select instant delivery.
I don't know if this idea has already been discussed earlier in this topic, but i'd really love to see it implemented in the next version of MPE.
