The IMEI of the phone is normally a 15-Digit numeric value. For you its A0000024547A2C -> cause of this MPE doe not accept the IMEI. Is your Samsung a CDMA-Phone ?

Yes, the Samsung Epic 4g works on Sprint in the US, which is a CDMA network. Same as the HTC EVO, another Sprint phone.

Just installed Version 1.0.3 of the Android client and still get the same error message.

Hah, no, you didn't say the bug depends on the client.

As a new version of the Android client just showed up on the market an hour or so ago I thought I'd provide an update in case it was helpful to you.
