Portable MPE doesn't show calendar appointments after sync

I have installed the portable version of MPE on my USB stick. I successfully connected my HTC Magic to MPE via Wifi. I performed a sync from phone to portable MPE, but in Portable MPE I do not see any of the appointments from my phone calendar.

Actually, I figured it out.

The first time I ran MPE (portable) and connected to my phone, it did a sync of everything, but didn't actually transfer appointments to MPE from my calendar.

I ran MPE again, connected to the phone, clicked on the Calendar tab, and clicked the sync button, and this time it did sync all my appointments.
