I was reading a thread where someone posted that all day events were being sync'ed a day early. That was happening to me too, so i decided to try a couple of test events.
On my outlook calendar, i created a new all day event on 24th December. When this was uploaded to the MPE calendar - it showed up a day early on 23rd December.
On the MPE calendar, I created a new all day event on 26th December. This also showed up on Outlook calendar on 26th December
All my time zones, (phone, outlook, computer) are set to Central Standard Time. I really wonder what is going on with this sync
I'd also like to know..how does MPE treat differently an event posted as a recurring event, versus one posted as Birthday?

When i synced my Outlook 2010 calender, all the appointment times were set to GMT 0.
Earlier my birthday reminders were from 12am to 12pm, but after sync with myphoneexplorer they changed from 4pm to 4pm, so the same birthday reminder will be shown on two days, If the birthday is on Jan 1st 2011, then it will show this reminder from Dec 31 2010 4pm to Jan 1 2011 4pm.
Later i disabled the sync with myphone explorer and restructered all my appointments and birthday reminders.
(sorry for the 2nd post, some mistakes in the first post)
i too had the same problem:

FWIW, this happened with my Windows Mobile phone (6.1) and Outlook 2007, with PME not even installed at that time on my computer. So maybe this is not related to PME...?
All my birthday events moved a day earlier, but the time for appointments stayed correct.
Here's what I found, which actually means nothing except I found a workaround:
When all my manually entered birthdays/anniversaries (deceased relatives, young nieces, nephews, etc) entered in Outlook then selected "birthday" in MPE interface; this converted them to All Day events. They were correct in Outlook but shifted one day backwards in phone.
Created a couple random All Day Event in outlook, sync to phone: shifted back one day from settings. (Yes, the times were 12:00a-12:00a)
Edited all the "birthday" entries in outlook - remove recurrence, set a time of zero minute length (ex. 9/18/1996 9:00a to 9/18/1996 9:00a), reinstate the yearly recurrence. Sync to phone, dates match perfectly.
Not sure whether its the "All Day" or the "birthday" option...
HOWEVER, on imported calendars (U S Holidays, Christian Holidays, Moon Phases, etc) "All Day" functions properly on phone and dates line up proper.

If you create ruled allday events then you should make them start after 1990. Very old events are often shown wrong in the calendar of Android, this is a general problem
