I wonder if it's possible to sync Google Calendar with Windows Live Calender.

Hello,

I miss a few things from this great software called MyPhoneExplorer.

- The call ringtone played on the PC is not looped. That should be looped while the phone rings for obvious reasons.
- No automatic speakerphone. I use a USB docking station so sync and charge my phone, so it would be great taking the call with the speaker already on while docked.
- There is no autorun function on android side, every time I dock, I have to run the MyPhoneExplorer client. I think it should run in the background when the phone boots without an icon and without ever exiting. That way, docking the phone would automatically trigger the sync process.
- I miss a checkbox to disable the Multi-sync process screen. I would prefer it to run in background.
- Reminders on PC are unaudible and cannot be configured, that's the only thing keeping me from silent mode when connected.

I hope these ideas make sense. I would really love to help.

2) in the settings of MPE you can enable the speaker of the phone automatically, but in the current client is a bug so it does not work to enable the Speaker throught MPE in general
3) not needed, if you connect via USB then the client gets automatically started when the Desktop-Software wants to connect
4) this is against my principle. A sync should never run in background
5) i don't think its really needed to play a sound when a appointment happens, you have the "bling" and also the flashing systray-Symbol

5. I'm so very forgetful, without my phone reminding me, I could starve to death. Literally everything I do is in my calendar and all appointments have their reminders. It would be vital for me to have a louder reminders.

Oh, and an awesome idea: Can you make MPE gateway the voice input and output through USB/Wi-Fi? It would be very useful to have the possibility to use the PC as a "headset" and make calls through the computers speaker and mic.

First off you can add the LG Optimus One P500 to the supported phones list, it works like a charm over Wifi (can create hotspot with Connectify if needs be)

Re syncing in background:

You can make this using the Windows Task Scheduler with the correct command-line parameters to MyPhoneExplorer. Please read the FAQ.

I may be blind and/or wrong but the FAQ at http://www.fjsoft.at/forum/viewtopic.php?t=42 could use some additional info about using the flags command line. I want to set up the task to use both noerrmsg AND closeafteraction - if it is possible, how to combine them?

edit: forget that first bit I don't know how I missed it already there on the supported phones list :p

Is it possible to request for a future release for the iPhone. Maybe an app that supports the iPhone only? I love this application so much I would buy it for the iPhone if you could SMS from it via bluetooth!

Since i've been searching for the same thing as indroid84 just recently - and as i've checked the question keeps returning - why not add a FAQ position with explanation of "WHY NOT samsung & iphone & nokia & other brands" as You've already did in :

few reasons why i only support SonyEricsson:
- i have no know-how in other manufacturers
- i have no test-devices f.e. samsung
- i have not much time for developing
- if there are samsung-user i have to support these users also - which also costs alot of time

And i'm guessing in many more places though i havent found; yet above given suits me well.

A donation is on its way because this program is brilliant. Rather than pay for apps on the Android market which may or may not work or be what I want.

Why Android and OEMs haven't included the ability to sync with Outlook ... well I can only assume it's because they want everyone to have all their stuff datamined by Google services. Do No Evil... yeah right

This topic is a bit long... however I like to add a request

When you ask for a confirmation screen for the (calendar) changes that the sync will perform, it would be handy to be able to have an option not to include the changes that stem from the sync period. In other words: I like to see changes that originate from things I changed either in Outlook or in the phone. But appointments that are removed from the phone because they are too old (outside of sync window) now clog up the list a bit, so I like to be able to suppress those from the list.

Well however this isn't strictly related to MPE development, i hope it might be interesting.

Is there by any chance for a good internet source of how is pdu formed?

Say, i have a dozens of smses texted not by using phone but through a free sms gate. I have them stored in text format including date.
If i found out how to convert them to fake pdu, i might be able to import converted smses into MPE archive, such way creating complete conversation history.

Would You think of such thing as worthwhile?
I'd be even willing to write and donate a script to such manner

Thing that i missed:
* Option to sync with Gcalendar deleting all the Google Calendar.
Option to delete first the destiny calendar ....: sync from to x with delete all destiny. Easy and rapidest than load and compare the items.

I had some time that the calendar items duplicate .... with this options doesn't will been.

* Sync contact from Outlook and Google with IMAGES of items.

I had used a portable app.
Great.

I other issue, when the program askme to sync the outlook contacts or calendar the OS show a msgbox to allow this for 1 min or 10 min.....
And the sync of items will taken more than 10 min and late failt .....

Is there any option to sync 3 hardware or items on the sync:Phone, Google, Outlook??

If i sync phone with outlook late the phone had to RESYNC with google.
Is posible sync Outlook with Google directly?

Or create an option to delete all the phone items.....

If this exist I only had to sync Phone with Outlook and late outlook to Google. But i need to delete all items on one destiny: Google or Phone or Outlook.

Other: SPanish version???? Do you have ini's?

Is there a way to store multiple mobile/ home/ work phone numbers for a person. My Android phones allow me to do this but I cannot see these in MPE nor can I edit them - only 1 mobile number can be seen.

It would be very useful to be able to merge the contacts of the phone with a program instead of only being able to choose the contact from your phone or destination (google, thunderbird, outlook, etc.). This would make the program much closer to perfect. I do not understand how hard you can implement this function

is it possible or can be to do such thing in webbrowser context menu
just call number via mpe on selected text ?

I just came across this program and it looks terrific - I don't want to give up Outlook 2007 to use my Samsung Captivate. However, before I install (and donate!) could we have an answer to the question about multiple mobile, home and work numbers for a single contact? I haven't seen an answer.
I have many contacts who have 3 work numbers, 2 home numbers, 2 mobiles ... and I need to save them all. I can't install MPE until I know whether that is supported. (and if it isn't, this is a feature request!)
