Sync with Outlook keeps finding events
Sync with Outlook keeps finding events
When I synchronize my Android phone with Outlook it finds the updates that are made since last sync. When I sync the events and synchronize again, there are usually a few events that show up again when I try to synchronize again.
One of the patterns I've observed is the following: when I sync using the default options MPE deletes entries in Outlook but on next sync it finds missing entries in Outlook and creates them again.

Another observation: synchronised all events today. On next sync attempt (within a few seconds) no new/changed events are found. On next attempt one changed event is found. On next attempt (without synchronising anything!) two events are found. On further sync attempts the same set of these two events are found (note: these events did not change after first sync).
The involved events are events that have changed in the past, i.e. the time was changed.

Your problem sounds similar to one I posted recently. Can you check ... http://www.fjsoft.at/forum/viewtopic.ph ... highlight= ... and see if it sounds the same?

It sounds another software does also change events on phone, maybe the automatic Sync with Google raises your problems.

This is very unlikely because I'm not logged in into Google Calendar and thus not making changes and this behaviour is quite reproducible. Also the timespan between the synchronisation attemtps is within a minute. The problematic events were certainly not updated elsewhere during sync.
I've some additional info: I've created two test events, one on my phone and one in Outlook. I started synchronization, both are found, and synchronized. I deleted both events on the phone and synchronized. All events are gone both on phone and in Outlook.
Now, in a next synchronization for some reason the event created on the phone keeps popping up. The curious thing is that:
- the event is not present in Outlook.
- neither in the Calendar on my Android
- however, after the synchronization attempt (since no changes are made automatically), the event is visible in the calendar of MyPhoneExplorer.
Does that provide any help perhaps?

Ah - this is a bug in the official client. Please install the current beta: www.fjsoft.at/mpeclient.apk

Works wonderful! Thanks a lot!
Perhaps related: the problematic events that frequently pop up while not changed are often recurring appointments. One of my recurring appointments is now updated: for today the meeting has been delayed from 9:00 to 9:30. For all the other weekly occurances it stays at 9:00.
Now Outlook shows the meeting at 9:30 for today, but when I start MPE it shows it still at 9:00. As a result MPE finds nothing to update (since the one on my phone is also still on 9:00). Although this is another issue than the topic subject, it might be related or even the cause for it. Obviously the data that MPE shows in Organizer > Calendar, which it reads from Outlook, is not allways correct.
