Syncing emails from my Xperia X8

Hi,
I'm new to the forum. I've been using My Phone Explorer to sync my contacts and calendar with Outlook 2010 and that has worked fine. I've started using email now on my phone (I'm very much a beginner at using mobile phones for this kind of thing) and I'm wondering how I can save my emails from the phone to my PC. Text messages/conversations download OK to the PC but I'm not sure about emails. I'm a little concerned that using the wrong settings might wipe my existing emails from the phone. Thanks for any help.

MyPhoneExplorer does NOT sync emails to/from PC.
If you want to see your mails on your smartphone AND your PC, i would suggest to use IMAP on both devices.

Thanks Mr. Deauville.

I've been thinking about this and realised that as I am using Google Mail it's like using webmail on my PC. So it's not really on my phone at all. I've set Google Mail to forward emails to one of my regular email addresses so that I can also manage it with my PC email client.
